A researching group focusing on designing new style structure and preparation technology of Cu-Al refrigeration pipes was set up in 2003 with the experts from Materials Institute of Ocean University of China, and worldwide problem of thin wall Cu-Al pipes was solved then. Now, this technique has been already applied widely in Cu-Al connecting pipes between external and internal parts of air-conditioners. This product has became one of the eight hot-problems in air-condition industry. Haiqing Cu-Al connecting pipe is one of the society wide popularized energy saving and emission reduction invention items in 2007 by China Invention Committee. Our Invention Patent of "Cu-Al compound pipes in refrigeration system and its manufacturing" has gained Award for Outstanding Chinese Patented Invention from WIPO-SIPO as the first WIPO Award in Chinese Welding Area.Now, we have hundreds sets of weld equipment to produce refrigeration Al pipes with two Cu ends. This kind of pipe can replace traditional pure Cu connecting pipes and be applied between external and internal parts of air-conditioners. Our products have gained 5 Invention Patents and 15 New Style Utility Patents. These patents were award by the 10th Golden Prize of Chinese Patent, and have gained the Silver Award in 2007 Paris International Invention Exhibition during Association Des Inventeurs Et Fabricants Francais, the 15th Golden Prize of China Patent Exhibition, Special Golden Prize of China International Patents and Brands Exhibition, National Key-New Products and Qingdao New High Technical Products. Our enterprise has been assessed as Shandong Star Chinese Patents Enterprise and gained Qingdao North-City Area Science-Technology Special Contribution Award.At present, Haiqing Products have been adopted by most internal large air-conditioner enterprises, and the air-conditioner enterprises from the USA, Korea and Japan are beginning to use this technology. 40,000,000 sets of Cu-Al air-condition connecting pipes have been applied in the market since 2004 and the qualification rate is 100%. This technology can be applied in parts of air-conditioners, such as air-conditioner evaporators, U style condensator pipes, air-condition tubing and air-condition mufflers with a large manufacturing scale.
